I cant believe that I have nearly 200 people reading my text-based trainwreck that I call a blog. What's up with that? It's not like I write riveting commentary, post tons of interesting and/or suggestive pictures or lead people through my life filled with wonders and amazement. This thing is just a kind of representation of me, my somewhat higher-that-totally-dull life, and the world around me.

And I'm not even paying y'all to be here. :-)

So, I ask you, "What brings you here?". Honestly, I'd like to know. I would also like some constructive criticism too. What would make Manic Mechanic Land more interesting, am I doing anything wrong, etc. You get the idea.

An inquiring mind wants to know.

It's always hard for me to figure out what draws me toward anybody. It's not looks (even though you definitely got 'em :)) I almost want to answer that it's just a certain vibe I get with certain people, but I'm sure there's a more logical explanation that I don't usually feel inclined to analyze. It's different things with different people. I think one reason that I like reading your journal is because we have something in common as far as our tastes in music. We both like progressive music which is kinda rare in the gay community and rare outside of that community. I think I'm also drawn toward our differences in the way we perceive things politically and philosophically. It's also interesting to see how your life has progressed since we friended each other. I guess if I have to give you constructive criticism, it would be that I would like to know more of your views on things that most people on your friends list don't agree with if those views exist. I wanna see contraversy :) But that's just all for my own amusement, so don't listen to me :)

Well, I was first interested by your absolutely cute user icons. I'm sure I'm not the only one to find you attractive. But then you kept me interested by revealing a very deep and thoughtful soul. The clincher was your lip-sync movie. You have such expressive eyes!
