You're over thinking this. It's a *very* simple substitution that has been around for ages. If you don't happen to have an application (or run Mac OS or Linux --both of which come with the ability to decode the message "out of the box"

If you want to decode it manually, look for the small words, then figure out what they may be. Then use those decoded letters throughout the remainder of the message. From there, you should be able to figure out the larger words.

But yes, it's much simpler to just use the Mac OS Service to do it for you ;-)

This one is easy. It's called ROT13 (rotate thirteen), where you substitute the letter with one thirteen positions down in the alphabet. 13 is so common because it's halfway through the 26 letters. :-)
