Do memes have a 'sell-by date'?

I think I sent in for this thing a year or so ago. It came in the other day. Wow... If I wanted service this slow, I'd wait in line at the Department of Motor Vehicles.

And still, after all this time, I am not sure exactly what this represents. It is a big block of code to cut 'n' paste though, that is fun. Maybe.
