OMG teh drama llama

Remember that scene in Blazing Saddles near the end, where that bar fight begins to spill from one soundstage to another, involving more and more random and unsuspecting cast and destroying all the props and scenery? That was funny. Trying to recreate it starting from a flounce post in your own journal then de-friending people somehow connected with yet totally uninvolved (and unconcerned) the original target party, well, that's just silly. Usually I would not give this a second thought, but I've been in a cranky mood due to childishness I have been encountering at work, so I figure a little rant of my own is warranted.

Marbles? I think someone lost them for a moment. Or two.

Nah, I didnt create it. I see it in a lot of drama heavy communities. There are lots of cat macros used to denote and counteract 'flounce posts'. lol

LJ drama, ditcha say, LJ drama?

Was a direct target of an underhanded attack by a guy who didn't like the fact that I had friended some of the same people he had. It's a long story but we met online, though never in person and had a falling out. After I discovered this place indirectly through him but joined not BECAUSE of him.

Anyway, he got some people to not only defriend me, but some in turn banned me for no descernable reason as well, thankfully one or two did go that route other than what he may have told them and the saddest cut of all was one fellow whom was dying of cancer, he got to not only defriend, but ban me too, I found out cancer patient passed not long after that.

Now THAT's drama of an underhanded sort. Thank God it's long past now. :-)
