Check, check
Jan. 5th, 2013 11:21 pmTesting? Number 9? Is this working?
The other evening I decided to post and, lo and behold, LJ was either under attack by Russian hooligans or someone tripped over a thick cable in a server room somewhere. Typical. I'll try that post when things have calmed down.
How's everyone doing?

Date: 2013-01-06 06:34 am (UTC)Once I can get SP2 installed (usually some DLL file that can't be found or something corrupted, sometimes it's the download that's at fault) I'll be fine as I can then upgrade my browser as they need SP2 to install. :-(
I just pulled a file across directly through the network to see if I can get it to work that way, no go, but had another source downloading, and will try that in the morning.
Other than that, am decristmased, though I still need to get the ornament tubs back down to my storage locker in the basement and get the tree bag so I can remove that and put it away, and then I'm totally decristmased for the year.
Outside of that, feeling good that stuff is getting done.

Date: 2013-01-06 07:40 pm (UTC)So far, 2013 has been peachy (...and that holiday icon pic of yours remains swoony as ever).
I'm just about to bid farewell to the land of cute Poms and head back to northern climes.

Date: 2013-01-07 05:11 am (UTC)You can try and sneak a Pom home with you. They fit in overhead bins. ;)
Edit: Posting this comment took three tries to get past the Dreaded 503 Service Unavailable Error. Gah.

Alas, I already had too much luggage, tho your suggestion of absconding with a Pom was tempting (I've made it back home in one piece). For your edification: a couple shots of the Poms I left behind ...the white one goes by the name of 'Fat Boy' and is expert at playing 'fetch' with mini-tennis balls.
