A side effect to the antibiotics I am taking is that they leave a horrible taste in my mouth as well as make even good food have an unappetizing flavor and especially aftertaste. Best way to relate it I guess is to go and lick a corroded battery terminal, eat some food, then follow it up with chewing the terminal again. It's awful.

To make matters worse I am sitting here drinking a barium sulphate suspension for my upcoming ct scan. I feel like I am gonna wretch with each sip. The orange flavor only makes it taste like Tang mixed with spackling.

If I could figure out a way to live with no digestive tract right now, I'd have the whole mess removed.

I'd truly be the Gutless Wonder then.

That's easy. I work on cars. If I clean a corroded battery terminal, battery tray or hold-downs, the resulting dust, no matter how much I try to avoid it, ends up getting whiffed in by the slightest amount, and the smell and especially the taste of this is metallic acidic nazzty.

As for the spackling, all one has to do is stand in a room being drywalled much less than doing it yourself and you'll know what I mean. :-)
